Kathleen Fish, DVM
A native of Buffalo, NY, Dr. Kathleen Fish has cared for pets as a general practitioner at Perinton Veterinary Hospital since 2004.
Dr. Fish completed her undergraduate education at the University of Buffalo and she received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Health and Behavior in 2000. During her undergraduate career, Dr. Fish received numerous citations for her academic excellence. Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the national honor society, she was also the recipient of the Grace Capen Award for Academic Excellence, the Howard Hughes Research Fellowship and an award for excellence in general chemistry. She went on to attend the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.
Ultrasound and educating employees, clients and students about veterinary medicine are among her professional interests.
Dr. Fish attends Calvary Chapel of Rochester. Outside of work, she plays violin with the Penfield Symphony Orchestra, plays tennis, and competes in triathlons. She also loves to travel (especially internationally!). Her animal companions include 3 kitties – Norman, Puck, and Grimmlee.
