Nancy Filiaci, DVM

Dr. Nancy Filiaci General practitioner Dr. Nancy Filiaci has cared for pets at Perinton Veterinary Hospital since 2006.

She grew up in Nassau, Bahamas and Toronto, Canada before attending Cornell University, where she graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1982. She continued her education at the Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1987.

Educating the public, especially young people, about animal care and welfare issues is one of her many professional interests. Dr. Filiaci is also a member of the Pittsford School PTSA and volunteers with many groups in the community, including Cub Scouts, Brownies and her church.

When she's not caring for pets at the hospital, Dr. Filiaci can be found spending time with her husband, Casey, and their three children, Casey Mae, Gino and Francesca. She also enjoys trail running, skiing, hiking, kayaking, camping and other outdoor activities. The family also includes two dogs, Bow Wow and Snow Dog, and a cat named Spot.
